The problem is that an upvote and a downvote completely lack context.

Racism is bad: true

Physical violence is worse than verbal violence IF all else is equal : true

Therefore…

Physical racism is worse than verbal racism.

But physical violence is not necessarily worse than verbal racism. This is why contacts matters.

And that’s why it’s ok to punch Nazis.

Yes, when I see posts identical to this it’s usually in the context of “left wing antifa violence is more common than right wing violence.” Which makes me wary enough of this post already.
