      You think you’ve done some major gotcha but you’re just a pendantic ass. Guess all of socialized medicine isn’t worth it because you know the REAL average ER bill in the US is only a large sum of money and not a stupefyingly large sum, when every other civilized country has no bill at all. Embarrassing.

  Tag on another $1500+ for an ambulance ride, and add that the $3500 only accounts for the room, not any treatment.

    You forgot the part where the anesthesiologist is out of network, but you were not told this nor were you offered any other options before your treatment, and now your bill has doubled.
