This was my husband. He only bought a new one because he wanted one of the metal ones that just hold cards, that you can stick on the back of your phone. I spent 15 years with him before that, and he’d had the wallet at least 7 years when we met.

I bought it for $25 in 2009 and have carried it every day since. The fabric in the cash pocket has separated from the leather and the plastic window for my photo ID is missing. My wife told me I should buy a new one since this one’s so worn. I said, “Why? It still works perfectly.” Not a knock against her. We just have different ideas about the meaning of durability.

Similar, but I’ve had mine since 1996. It’s Kenneth Cole brand. It’s amazing how well it’s held up.
I looked at replacing it a few years ago, but couldn’t find one with the same features.
