  Its harder to make a point that there has ever really been an Anarchist movement which resulted in horror because people either:

  1. Promote Anarchism and don’t believe in its wrongdoings

  or

  1. Believe “Anarchist Organization” is a bigger Oxymoron than giant shrimp and doesn’t exist

  If I were being semantic I would say Communism needs to be put in Quotes.

    It’s never “real communism”, because real communism is an ideal thing that can only actually happen when no one in any position of power abuses that for personal gain. No matter how many times it’s tried, people exist and will fuck it up. The same type of people who turn capitalism into baby crushing factories.

      You could claim western democracies which are effectively wellfare states are the true socialisms but man that really stirs up BOTH the hives.

        More baby crushing factories means less hungry children, less poverty, and baby oil for everyone. It’s clearly socialism. :)

      We could use a better name for transitional statism that’s for sure. There’s no guarantee the road will ever lead to communism town, especially with fallible humans at the wheel.

        If all people need to be in an ideal state for it to actually happen, then it’s irrelevant because even if we managed to get the world to that state whatever got us there would have already proven it’s worth beyond being cast aside to try out some other economic ideology.
