- Comment on PSBLACKOUT (boycott of PlayStation) 3 days ago:Hard to boycott what I already stopped using a good while ago, though...
- Comment on SBA #189 inspro 3 days ago:Technically, there was still somebody... You!
- Comment on Technology 5 days ago:I just preemptively boycott all art to be completely sure.
- Comment on Protip: 6 days ago:Then there's me, taking reality raw all my life because I can't afford streaming services since at least ten years ago
- Comment on European Union set to approve Saudi PIF acquisition of Electronic Arts, according to report 6 days ago:Fair that... but not being able to use the good computer for actual computing (like image editing, video processing, compression, etcetera) doesn't feel right. What I'm doing, of course, is to just stop gaming online altogether.
- Comment on so much winning 1 week ago:Surprisingly, still not as devaluated as the Colombian Peso (or Columbian Weight for the Spanish-challenged)
- Comment on Id play it 1 week ago:Just in time to play Echoes of Aincrad!
- Comment on Interesting 1 week ago:The alternative is, of course, everyone becoming self-reliant hermits and very good luck with that
- Comment on European Union set to approve Saudi PIF acquisition of Electronic Arts, according to report 1 week ago:Kernel level anti-cheat is making me consider to move away from PC gaming for multiplayer games, which I already boycott on principle. Yes, it would mean lower performance, less input flexibility and paying for the privilege of playing online - but there's the peace of mind of knowing China, Saudi Arabia, the US or whomever else isn't rummaging through my passwords and personal data
- Comment on One day you'll find someone who's obsessed with you and want all your time. That person will be your manager at work 2 weeks ago:Or, in my case, the old coworker that messages me roughly every pair of weeks asking me to "lend" him five quid give or take
- Comment on Pino's Craporia 3 weeks ago:It's entirely possible this reviewer had COVID and didn't know it
- Comment on This phone in the stock room was so filthy someone put a clean grip on it so you wouldn't have to touch it 4 weeks ago:Waiting for the phone to ring has never been so exciting
- Comment on End of an era? 4 weeks ago:
Amazing to see all four major players in the AAA gaming industry shooting themselves in the feet one way or another:
- Xbox trying to spread itself thin between consoles and PC, going into studio purchasing sprees that it was unable to maintain long-term and churning them out as we speak
- Steam getting bitten hard by the AI bubble, making their Steam Machine dead on arrival in price, power, and availability of games (although the latter is partly due to a lack of anti-cheat solutions that can be legally deployed on top of an open-source kernel)
- And Nintendo pushing for more expensive games than the competition, and deploying Game Cards for physical games as the worst of both worlds
- Comment on Upgrade 5 weeks ago:Not sure if making a statue to whatever the British call "liver tea" would be recommendable though
- Comment on Yay, sponsored emojis! 5 weeks ago:As if all competitions weren't immoral by nature
- Comment on 1 month ago:Basically, a "vacation" to a psych ward. "Grippy socks" are used instead of shoes, specifically to prevent inpatients from harming themselves with the shoelaces.
- Comment on There was a time when people had to deal with all of these being separate 1 month ago:And the pocket bags were large enough to fit all of that inside, sometimes with spare space for a charger or two. Ah the times
- Comment on SBA G Series #136 1 month ago:Which is why I don't waste my time doing much. Turns out the Buddhists had a point

- Comment on Title 1 month ago:...Never mind, the kilogram of gold hasn't been below $100K since at least last year: apmex.com/gold-price/1-kg-gold…
- Comment on Title 1 month ago:I had forgotten that the US dollars didn't require being in 1 USD bills. Yeah, using 100 USD bills could make the value better than gold's, as long as it sells below $100,000 USD per kilogram
- Comment on Title 1 month ago:And now you nerdsniped me into finding the value density of a dollar bill, which is roughly 1 gram, which makes a kilogram of dollars be worth some $1000 USD. Which still pales in comparison to the value of a kilogram of gold by at least a factor of 40-to-1

- Comment on Masturbation among birds is ‘natural’ and should not be punished, say experts 1 month ago:Exactly, your chicken should be choking herself as is natural
- Comment on stony tony 1 month ago:I misread a letter on "a real human lick" (guess which one of course it's that one) and it frankly makes more economic sense to use it for that instead of as a tongue
- Comment on The open seas be the only place for Steve 2 months ago:Ah, the freedom (and the boredom) that comes from boycotting all the arts
