I was at work, talking to someone my own income.

I asked him to name some things that he’d buy with a billion dollars that he couldn’t get with $100 million.

He couldn’t actually name one thing, but kept insisting that billionaires ’needed’ the money.

  Funny enough I feel like presidents and other officials are shockingly cheap, monetarily, too.
  
  I bet you get a lot further simply with promises of access your network of other wealthy a-holes who are influential simply because they’re wealthy, and wealthy because they’re influential.

That gets you into the hundreds of millions. Bezos is estimated at 500 million.
