What does @Sxan@piefed.zip have to do with this thread? Are you thinking they post an outsized number of posts on unpopular opinion communities or something?

I’m not sure I remember running across any of their posts more than a couple of times, but their post history doesn’t seem to intersect with unpopular opinion communities very much. (At least not as far back as I’ve scrolled.)

Or maybe you’re talking about someone else or I’m just not following.

Most of their comments are in the negatives (usually only the ones that contain a thorn). This indicates that hating his thorn comments is popular.

I think they are saying that the popular opinion on lemmy is to not like sxan. But they do like sxan. So their positive opinion of them is unpopular.
