Doesn’t ticketmaster now allow you to re-list the tickets for sale within the Ticketmaster app? It would be a smart move, because they get a cut of the sale without taking the risk of the tickets not selling at high prices.

Scalping only works because that’s already the market rate, if the venue charged that price to begin with then scalping wouldn’t work.

for things like trading cards, they can increase the pull rates to reduce/eliminate scalping because theres no need to hold on to the chase packs. but TCPi/jpan in thier infinite wisdom arnt doing that.

Ticketmaster’s real job isn’t selling tickets. It’s being the bad guy, so fans hate them instead of hating the band or venue.
