As an adult I’ve had enough stomach aches, and gained enough belly fat, and developed enough of a palette, to viscerally dislike eating lots of cake.

Yep, if I really want cake I’ll pay the ridiculous price for a single slice. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s cheaper than buying a whole cake, and I know after that one piece I won’t want anymore for a long time.

i just take breaks in my cake eating binge to binge tacos. get enough protein in there and you’re fine.
