The post isn’t deleted. Maybe it’s more of an anti-you conspiracy that we’re all in on but the site’s been having issues. Chances are pretty good that you got a blank page because of a server error (or, again, the conspiracy) but it’s still there.
Comment on Banned from Mental Health and falsified modlog...
Abyssian@lemmy.world 1 day agoOf course, and you all also just happened to show up here at the same time I was calling that out and delete of course delete the post I’d just linked where any user could see there were in the end 5 accounts all made within the same few days all with the same pattern who all jumped out of nowhere to attack a user who dared question why someone had been banned like that.
Now only instance admins can see that deleted post and all the accounts involved, instead of letting every user see the level of bullshit.

I think there’s some confusion. The linked post isn’t deleted. But the linked post is in an ADHD community. It sounds like OP posted the same content or linked to it in lemmy.world/c/mentalhealth . I do not see evidence of it in the mental health community, so it must have gotten removed from there.

The linked post I’m referring to is from this part of the comment I replied to:
All 3 accounts created in the same time period 3 years ago, all 3 moderators of multiple non-overlapping communities, and all 3 of them chiming in on this issue on the Mental Health community as seen here: lemmy.world/post/50464079
That post is “Shortest subscription ever.” by Rhynoplaz in !mentalhealth@lemmy.world.

Did you forget what account you’re using? You were banned from Mental Health right after I called your account out as an alt. You’d think the big red box telling you you’re banned would have caught your attention looking at the post.

Your comment above states that the post was deleted. It was not. What does my ban have to do with the presence or absence of the post?

Maybe it’s more of an anti-you conspiracy that we’re all in on but the site’s been having issues. Chances are pretty good that you got a message had text errors because of a server error (or, again, the conspiracy) but it’s still there.

I know you are hurting right now and you need somewhere for that hurt to go, but I am not your enemy. I am not familiar with the users you posted, nor do I have the ability to change your situation. I’m just some random a bit bored on my weekend off haha. It’s somewhat marred by the fact that Lemmy keeps erroring out every time I try to do something, but alas.
To be frank with you, I’m not interested in having some long protracted debate with you about the content of your original post.
I’m sorry for the ramble (we both appear to be prone to it lol) and I know this sounds a bit out of left field, but have you heard of DBT? I don’t have ADHD myself, but I struggle with the intensity of my emotions when something happens to me. I’ve read that a lot of people with ADHD struggle with this too. You are absolutely valid in being hurt and upset, but your own behavioral response afterwards isn’t necessarily helping you out. I’ve been trying my best to have a more nuanced understanding of things, myself, life, etc., and to be less polarizing in “right” vs. “wrong”. I don’t always succeed (as no human is perfect), but I feel as though it has helped me out.
I do wish I had another mental health community to direct you towards that would welcome you, but unfortunately I don’t at the moment.
I can only hope you do something fun/nice for yourself today to try to make what happened weigh less on your mind! Wishing all the best!

Of course, when I call out your messages and ask you to specify what assertion you were saying your could see as being medical misinformation you are unable to actually do that and so you deflect to acting as though you’re worried that I had issues controlling my own emotions.
Instead of backing up your own statements and words, you call into question the personal emotional state of the other person. There’s a term for that.

This is a support thread. I was giving some of my thoughts on it. It didn’t seem to be a space where a back and forth debate made sense.
I posted the comment you replied to when you being unkind to me and started accusing me of things that I did not do.
Please understand that you are speaking to another human when you are doing this. I am a living, breathing being. And you are being hurtful.
Being hurtful is not only unfair to me, but you are hurting yourself in the process. I found a lot of help discovering DBT, and I just rambles on about it as something that felt relevant to the scenario.

Doubling down. Note that you walked into this thread and accused me of spreading misinformation.
You made a long post and ended in saying that you would understand someone seeing my assertion as being that. Medical misinformation.
When I replied rebutting your reply and questioning for you to point to a specific assertion that I made that you are claiming would be reasonably considered medical misinformation, you instead deflect to questioning my emotional stability and control.
After that was called out you doubled down on that and also try to assert that I am the bad monster causing you emotional harm in this situation.
It seems likely that you are correct that you do have issues controlling your emotions, however that’s not an issue I’ve ever had. I thank you for your deep and genuine concern.
However the only words I’m interested in seeing for you are words backing up your own statement. Specifically, what is the assertion you claim that I made which could be reasonably considered medical misinformation?
