Comment on Teserract may be opensource, but adding myself would feel disingenuous

A lemmy frontend, the dev apparently put in a shadowban list hiding leftist and trans communities/users.

Him and like the 7 other people who end up using it will love shouting at each other I’m sure.

I’m so confused because I’m like a liberal gun owner who hates the Democratic party but loves Democracy, and somehow my username is in the regex.

You didn’t state you like the Republicans nor the current version called MAGAs, so you’re certainly a leftist

Liberal gun owner? Yeah, he hates that shit for some reason. I think he’s basically all “if you don’t agree with every decision made by the good guys on the West Wing, you’re toxcick!”

If you’re to the left of Kissinger, you’re a “leftist” to the kind of people who think secret shadowban lists which are dynamically fetched from an external server are a good thing.

In the same position as you exactly, I was surprised since I’m not too active on comments.

I do be hating capitalism and transphobes, though.

Likely your username alone was enough to make the list, what with the allusion to eating the rich.

That fellow said he doesn’t like violence and hate. Maybe you qualified because of your gun ownership.

I’m not trans or leftist and I’m on the list. I rarely discuss politics here anyway. I mostly talk about tech or post memes, so it seems more like a list of people the dev doesn’t like for no reason in particular.
