To be fair the originals were cool. A small museum in my town has one on display and damnit if those roadsters weren’t pretty cool (to me). Then the Nazi bitch bought the company and they started designing hot garbage.
Tesla sounded like a cool name for a car too…

Yeah, I remember them wanting to open-source a lot of the design to help push electrics forward.

If only wasn’t owned by a Nazi.

And weren’t dangerous/death traps for no good reason. And had good service practices, and weren’t anti-resale.
Mr. Tesla is certainly rolling over in his grave.

There was time I was thinking too buy Tesla and willing to look past that in name of advancing EVs. That until I realized who he was (the thing in Thailand raised my eyebrow, then the covid, but my breaking point was when he sabotaged Ukraine’s offensive). Now that finally seeing who he is made me wonder what I was thinking overlooking those things.
Fortunately I never pulled the trigger so I never owned any model. I still plan to have my next car and EV, but it definitely won’t be Tesla.

Honestly, I’d be half-tempted to buy one for a tiny fraction of the cost, just to build a powerwall out of the battery.
I saw some fully funcitonal going to less than 10k at one point
