or have you just not been paying attention? Nazism and fascism never went anywhere, and have been openly on the rise again for a significant while now, and those of us who it already impacts have been fighting them as best we can every step of the way. So maybe you should be asking yourself how this could have possibly taken you by surprise, unless you weren't paying as much attention as you like to think you have..
