the gender gap in Stem and trades is easily explainable: women have a significantly lower interest in those fields

my trade is one of the top 5 most dangerous careers. 2 of my friends have died in the job. it has 98% men, 2%women. I’ve never heard a feminist advocate for more female representation in this trade. can anyone explain that?

the 2 females I’ve met in the trade were exceptional. they both worked their way into managerial positions. this demonstrates the meritocracal ideology in the trades.

women rarely make it through an apprenticeship. an apprenticeship involves a tremendous amount of physical strength, which women are less likely to possess.

my question is why are feminists not advocating for representation in military, labor, and skilled labor sectors?
