Fucking great game, Inscryption was mentioned in here at least.
- Comment on What's Mastodon precious? 4 weeks ago:
If Mastodon wanted to be preferred, it should have been better. I moved to Mastodon over a year ago when the Twitter sale first happened. It was not great then and it’s gotten slightly worse since. I created a Bluesky account two fats ago and it already offers exactly the experience I missed from Twitter before Elon.
Would it be better if Mastodon was good and the federated FOSS option was superior? Sure, absolutely. But, that scenario isn’t even close to the case we are presented with.

I mean, yeah. Isn’t that what we would like here? To not have to work if we don’t want to and yet tech progresses steadily, industry still operates, the world continues moving while people are free to engage in their desired pursuits?

Exactly, they were labor heavy and he fixed a problem which resulted from gross over hiring. Sounds like he’s doing a good job.

G*mers really don’t want the industry to evaluate the $60 price point and apply inflationary adjustments going back to when it became the standard.

- Comment on Please stop making Alien movies 3 months ago:
Yeah … Alien is one of the greatest movies of all time and Aliens is a rare sequel which is almost as good as the original and it does it while swirling primary genres from the first. 3 is weaker but is carried by set design and incredible acting.
Honestly, all of the Alien movies that don’t have “Predator” in the title are at worst above average films.
- Comment on The full original Marathon trilogy is now free on Steam, but Bungie are still quiet on the reboot 3 months ago:
Isn’t the “reboot” an extraction shooter? I hope they stay quiet and someone else gets the IP; someone who appreciates what Marathon’s gameplay and story were and are.

- Comment on Breast Cancer 4 months ago:
It’s not diagnosing, which is good imho. It’s just being used to remove noise and artifacts from the images on the scan. This means the MRI is clearer for the reading physician and ordering surgeon in the case of the MRI and that the cardiologist can use less radiation during the procedure yet get the same quality image in the lab.
I’m still wary of using it to diagnose in basically any scenario because of the salience and danger that both false negatives and false positives threaten.
- Comment on Breast Cancer 4 months ago:
Our clinics are already using ai to clean up MRI images for easier and higher quality reads. We use ai on our carb lab table to provide a less noisy image at a much lower rad dose.
