The first season is very close. Iâve not read Testaments, but the show goes off into its own world after then. I find the fact the handmaid never has a name a feature of the book that the show misses, though I understand why they changed that.

Iâve only seen bits of it, but it struck me as fairly intense and compelling. I read that Margaret Atwood herself liked the series, so thatâs a pretty good endorsement.
