  Not to argue about the other points but:

  • Japan is even more affected by this phenomenon of low birth rates.

  Isn’t that where anime girls come from? So who ever wants to lower birth rates worldwide, started in Japan and now reaches other countries.

  I think anime girls predate Japan’s current demographic problems. There was concerns in the past in Japan about overcrowding and anime girls may have appeared around that time.

  So this theory is still plausible.
