  2. I could list you thousands of either adult women or children who aren’t sexualized. Just because a few anime’s do, doesn’t mean all are like that. And yes, it’s only a few. Gooners are represented, but there are hundred of thousands of bl mangas and non comedy anime’s. (Not to mention manga, manhua and light novels.)

      Go to myanimelist and look at the genres like slice of life, gourmet or horror. Sure, slice of life has stuff like Kobayashi maid dragon which is kinda weird with the three children. But around it are all, to my knowledge, “normal” anime’s.

    I get the impression most people here haven’t actually been to 4chan at any point during their lifetime. This is, on 4chan, standard trolling that most wouldn’t even glance at twice. Here, the compounding confusion at a statement that isn’t wholly honest drew like 50 people to arms and maybe a quarter of them recognized the situation for what it is.
