lonefighter@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks agoI actually love the marriage mechanics in Skyrim. if you’re interested in someone, you put on an amulet of Mara. If they aren’t interested, they ignore it, and there is no social awkwardness. If they are interested in you, they comment on the amulet and ask if you are looking for a partner. You can then say woops, my bad, I didn’t realize that’s what wearing this meant, or yes I am, are you interested, if so, let’s go get married.
I wish real life was that straightforward. No games, no social awkwardness, no guessing.
