I think the problem is objectification. It’s fiction and fantasy, but in the case of a live-action movie, there’s a real person under the fictions, and we need to remember that.

What the fuck is wrong with liking the first costume? Desiring “realism” in costume design is your preference, fine. Not everyone wants realism from their ridiculous super hero fantasies. If your disgusted by that, the problem is you.

There’s nothing wrong with liking it, there’s something wrong with demanding it and being outraged at not getting it and returning your ticket because apparently the costume is the only thing thag matters about the movie and it is RUINED.
