It is, in turn 40 this year and in the past year they’ve only just started to fill in. My dad had almost completely black hair into his early 60s. Both he and I have had super stressful lives. My mom had very obvious grays by the time I was born when she was 27.

sharkweek@sopuli.xyz 1 day agoI think it’s genetic sometimes - I didn’t have a single grey hair until I was 35, which is when a bunch of health stuff kicked off.
Still don’t have much grey at 48, and my grandfather was only about 50/50 when he died at 85.
I have not had a stress-free life.

I think it’s genetic
Yeah, I knew a guy back in high school who at 18 started going bald, and not a nice bald, poor bugger. There was another man I met who was in his 50s and had white hair since he was 11 or so, thick full pure white hair. Myself, @50ish, maybe 10 whiteish hairs on my head, and about half my beard.

True, but sadly both of my parents didn’t develop greys until their mid-50s…
