“Worst days” may be a bit extreme, but if you find yourself needed to take pain meds very frequently, talk to your doctor about which one(s) would be best to use regularly, given any other meds or medical problems you may have. They can also often prescribe longer-acting anti-inflammatories that only need to be taken once a day instead of 2-4 times a day.

Too much ibuprofen use can lead to ulcers, please limit use to the worst days.
Source: have cancer, can’t take acetaminophen or naproxen, they conflict with my meds, I can only take ibuprofen.

My mother died of kidney disease. No definitive cause was ever identified but her doctors theorized it might have been related to excessive use of ibuprofen earlier in her life.
