The comments stay, a lot of users run scripts that overwrite all their comments eith gibberish before deleting them thiugh.

The random word generators was specifically to get around Reddit restoring deleted comments by users. I suppose what we really needed was an AI generator which reversed and re-wrote the response to be completely wrong in order to poison the LLM well. (as if relying on the average redditor for many types of solutions isn’t poisoning it enough already)

They don’t. They were deliberately deleted either by the user themselves (most likely in this case) or reddit admins.
