  Very true.

  Although sometimes it is also ripping things apart so you can just move bits of it. Chemical reactions involve moving things on a molecular level. Sound is just a chain of things wobbling in a specific way. And the whole system can be stopped entirely by having a cat on your lap, which prevents all movement indefinitely.
