There’s a big problem of scalpers buying collectable cards and re-selling them for ridiculous prices. It’s especially a problem for Pokemon TCG since that has a massive kid audience who are being unfairly shut out.

Nintendo are the real bastards here, trading cards are gambling for children. Every “rare” card costs 10 yen to print but are kept artificially scarce to boost corporate profits at the expense of child gambling.
