It would be pointless and boring to me. I bore of BeamNG rather quickly, as there aren’t things to do, and it has some of the best physics in the industry.
There isn’t a game exactly like you’re describing, but I get the same vibes from various other games, depending what I’m feeling like.
-
FH series for all the real cars, good arcade physics.
-
BeamNG for sandbox, tuning, and (of course) wrecking cars.
-
ATS/ETS2 for cruising
-
This is nice as the truck/trailer provides an added challenge, as compared to cruising in a car.
-
I’ll also mention that ATS is planning a DLC for just driving cars.
-
Those are all games that have a strong focus on just driving around in beautiful sceneries with varying levels of minimal objectives. I don’t think any studio would be able to have as many cars as Forza, the physics of BeamNG, or the map size/quality of ATS/ETS2. Not that I’d hate to be proved wrong, but it would definitely not be an easy or cheap game to create.

- Comment on Forza Horizon 6's Japan map is the series' best yet 2 weeks ago:
I 100% agree, and wish they’d invest some more resources into making the dialogue passable. I could be wrong, but it seems to have only gotten worse with each new game. Hopefully (though I’m not holding my breath) FH6 can break that trend…
- Comment on Forza Horizon 6's Japan map is the series' best yet 2 weeks ago:
I’m not saying the dialogue is good, but I don’t think sensitivity filters or whatever are the issue, it’s just bad writing, and it doesn’t seem to be a priority to spend time creating a compelling story.

I didn’t love it, but I did get super into and really good at the piano tiles games.
- Comment on Nvidia Announces DLSS 5, and it adds... An AI slop filter over your game 5 weeks ago:
You make a good point in the second half of your comment, but I’m not sure why you had to call me an idiot first. I don’t watch short form content where AI is apparently rampant, and I haven’t ever intentionally seeked it out elsewhere. As far as people being fried by AI goes, I’ve gotta be near the lower end of the spectrum.
My take isn’t even gung-ho on the feature, and I only commented on a single screenshot.
- Comment on Nvidia Announces DLSS 5, and it adds... An AI slop filter over your game 5 weeks ago:
I’m not sure I’d go as far as saying it’s a good use of AI. Also, I’d you’d read the article (or even just the comments) you’d know that this required 2 5090s. Your 4090 is not going to cut it.
- Comment on Nvidia Announces DLSS 5, and it adds... An AI slop filter over your game 5 weeks ago:
That’s a really good point. I’m not even sure what the game is, I had assumed it was something old based on the before image, which would be a sensical use case for this imo.
- Comment on Nvidia Announces DLSS 5, and it adds... An AI slop filter over your game 5 weeks ago:
Reading through the comments, this is definitely an unpopular opinion, but while I don’t love it, it does look more “realistic” to me, even if it should look more like the source material.
- Comment on Epic Games needs Fortnite players to "help pay the bills" as the multi-billion-dollar company raises V-Bucks prices while making Battle Passes and Crew way worse in value 1 month ago:
It is kinda nuts that Epic isn’t as good as Steam still. More competition is more gooder, but Epic isn’t really competing. Of course, I’d also rather the competition not be such a terrible company. I’d love to see more from GOG, I do remember reading that GOG might be coming to Linux natively, which would be awesome.
- Comment on Are achievements still relevant in 2026—especially when mods disable them? 1 month ago:
They can be helpful when you enjoy playing a game but run out of stuff to do. I hunt for them in Mini Motorways, Forza Horizon, and a few other games. Most games I ignore them completely though.

I probably also won’t pay full price, as I’ve already waited this long anyways, but I’ve barely seen anything about this game, let alone spoilers. Maybe you’re just in different circles than me, or browse algorithms more. It was nearly the same with the first game.

Far Cry 3 is what got me into FPS. Cyberpunk is also, of course, great.

BeamNG is another example of this. That said, it’s one of the highest selling automotive games on Steam iirc.

Interesting, thanks for clarifying.
- Comment on Valve Addresses Steam Machine Anti-Cheat Concerns, Says It's Working Towards Support 4 months ago:
Often it could be compatible, but the developers just don’t bother. The anit-cheat that GTAO implemented works on Linux in other games, but not GTA, because they can’t be bothered to give a fuck.
- Comment on Valve's new hardware will NOT be loss leaders 5 months ago:
The same reason people go into debt for a burrito. It’s easier for people to justify a smaller cost now, and valve will make than money back later with extra games sold, especially in the case of the Frame.
- Comment on Valve's new hardware will NOT be loss leaders 5 months ago:
Hearing that is so refreshing. Microsoft/Google would never put something like that on their website because you are the product.
- Comment on Valve's new hardware will NOT be loss leaders 5 months ago:
Exactly, but I don’t see anything keeping them from selling the Frame at a loss or tight margin. What else are you going to use that with but Steam games?
Even the Steam Controller is useless without Steam Input, but I’d argue it won’t necessarily sell more games. Maybe they could include it with the Steam Machine for “free” to bump the price of the machine up enough to not make sense for a company, but still sell it at a tight margin to sell more games.

- Comment on How do gameplay youtuber develop interesting commentary? 8 months ago:
I’d second the fact that it’s really difficult to do it, and that you genuinely need to enjoy the process. More likely than not, you won’t “make it” and you’ll just be doing it as a hobby. Though, more than anything, you just need to do it. You might not know what to say today, tomorrow, or next month, but eventually you’ll find a rhythm and know what works for you. There’s no way to find that rhythm if you aren’t making anything.
My source for this is the fact that I’ve been doing YouTube for nearly 2 years now, creating weekly videos. I think they’ve been of pretty good quality for about 14 or so months now. I have just over 500 subs which, while I’m super proud of and thankful for that, isn’t even enough to enable ads on my channel. I also specifically chose a niche that’s a tad easier to stand out in, as the market for gaming videos is so so so saturated and difficult to stand out in, as the barrier for entry is so low.
I don’t mean to discourage, and of course wish you the best of luck, but I do want to share a realistic view on it based on my experiences being a small potato YouTube creator.

Why do so many of you throw tantrums over this
Sweet sweet irony.
- Comment on Why do people like Mario Kart? 10 months ago:
If it’s random and unfair, why do I consistently win more than others I play with?
Many good games have some luck, some skill, and some strategy. Mario Kart has all of these. Strategy in how and when to use your items, skill to drive/drift/etc, and luck in which items you get. It strikes a really good balance of this, which results in me, someone who’s an above average player, winning most of the time, but keeping it fun for those who aren’t as skilled, like my parents, where sometimes they can get one over me due to some luck, strategy, or a mistake on my part.
Finally, let people live their lives, and maybe git gud. It kinda sounds like you just suck, and are salty about it.

Not really an RPG, more of a action adventure, but Far Cry 3 will probably run well enough. I played it on a much worse laptop when I was in highschool.
