Comment on So Lemmy, what are your thoughts on Mixtape?
CountVon@sh.itjust.works 3 weeks agoIt’s a game, heavily inspired by the mixtapes of our shared youth. Some people say it’s not a game, because it doesn’t meet their definition of “game.” Some call it a “walking simulator,” which has a pejorative connotation. I haven’t played it yet, but I plan to, critics and purists be damned.

Nothing wrong with a good walking sim IMHO. Some of the best games I've played are walking sims (like S.O.M.A.)

Came here to day the same thing. They’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but Stanley Parable is a great example of a walking simulator that’s a great narrative game. I’d argue FireWatch is a pretty good game too.
