      You can just assume it’s true because it’s irrelevant. The original point is that Democrats originally wanted a public option, which is true (see section 321).

      Where the policies that made it into the final bill came from after it was amended doesn’t matter because the democrats are the only party that had any desire to pass a public option in the first place. These losers just want to deflect because their peanut brains can’t process “democrat good”.
