I didn’t see a time slot in the Wikipedia article. I was just going off of memory. My memory is telling me that it was late afternoon when nicktoons started and proper evening when ren n stimpy came on.
The younger generations simply aren’t going to understand the concept that there were specific times when your shows came on, and if you didn’t stop everything and turn it on immediately you might miss the first ten minutes.
Oh, and if you missed an episode? Tough, it might be a year or more before the next rerun…
Yeah, it was all ages stuff most of the day Saturday (I think for a time Nick Jr was a midday block on Nickelodeon), then Nicktoons, then SNICK which was for tweens and teens starting at like 7:30 or 8PM, after little ones usually go to bed during the school year.

That was the reboot. The original aired on Nickelodeon, but a more “adult” version was made for MTV after the initial got canceled.
