.ml doesn’t federate with nsfw instances, so All is clean. There’s probably other instances with a similar policy

I remember my first trip to “All” going “Wow, that’s a lot of furry porn, anime porn, and furry anime porn…”
Then, just when I blocked all the requisite communities, someone started setting up dozens of AI porn communities… (sigh)

.ml Is the home of alot of the tankies.

It just like… doesn’t reallt matter? Especially if you’re browsing all - then you just see stuff from everywhere federated. That’s basically how I use lemmy. I don’t only look at stuff from one instance

The main issue that I can think of is that there are whole federated instances that have the .ml instance blocked, so when you browse all, you aren’t getting all.

Lmao, I didn’t even realize we had that many furries on Lemmy because I blocked all their nsfw ones.
I’m gonna be side-eyeing all the political and leftist threads now, reading comments and trying to sus out what percentage of users are shooting from a furry-based perspective lmfaoooo

Glad I haven’t stumpled upon this kind of content yet.

FYI, the Voyager app has a “hide all NSFW”-setting. Saves you from having to keep up with all the new content!

See that’s the thing, I’m not generally opposed to NSFW content, just certain categories aren’t my thing.

Valid point! And yeah, there is a lot of furry content on here, NSFW or otherwise 😅
