Endorsement of Roy Moore: In 2017, Norris endorsed Roy Moore in the Alabama Senate race, standing by him despite serious allegations of sexual misconduct against Moore.
Support for Ted Cruz and Conspiracy Fears: In 2015, Norris expressed fear that the federal government was planning a takeover of Texas, calling on officials to investigate the “Jade Helm 15” military exercise.
Opposition to Evolution: Norris has openly spoken against the teaching of evolution, arguing for the teaching of creationism in schools.
Political Shift: Norris stated in 2014 that he was once a Democrat but switched to the Republican Party because he believed the Democratic Party had moved too far to the left.
Norris has continued to voice his political opinions through a regular column for WorldNetDaily, a right-wing media website.
