Schmuppes@lemmy.today 3 weeks agoIt’s widely agreed upon that the original fresco was not particularly valuable. It’s not like somebody messed up the Mona Lisa or a Rembrandt. If I ever happen to be in the area, I’m definitely going to see the thing in person. It’s become quite a tourist magnet, and the village is happy about it.
