  1025, if you don’t count regional variants that have the same name, and many have multiple forms now.

  I remember being upset that I just learned 2nd gen when they added a third. My hair is turning grey.

        It’s probably worse than that. Every time it rolls back down, it becomes a bigger boulder, because new pokemon are there

        You can’t even ‘catch ‘em all’ anymore anyway. There are too many so they have to keep pulling more and more from the games.
