  I thought vets always did it to be cute but it probably helps line up animals and owners in their system.

  It’s extra funny when a pet is called something stupid because the last name then makes it sound so formal

  Yeah. I call my dog Toby [my middle name][my surname] when he’s been bad. To hear someone else say it is weird.
