Fucking ridiculous and western centric as fuck to say Jesus was the first person labeled “god personified”…
Like, the current Japanese emperor is “believed” to be the descendant of a literal god. And that shit took off long before AD or Jesus. But it undoubtedly happened much earlier all over, we just don’t have evidence of pre-historic times, that’s literally why we call that period “before history”.
Doesn’t mean nothing happened, just that we don’t know what was happening, yet.

The Romans and Greeks were also influenced by the Far East. And all of these things can be true at the same time. All religions are built in the foundations of those of earlier cultures.
