Left the house at 6:45. Got a camera alert a couple of hours later of movement in the house, and surely enough, dog was caught peeing on the couch. Itâs always when we arenât home or at night he goes inside. He knows to go outside every other time, and has his own door.
My mum thinks heâs doing it out of spite because heâs being left alone. Perhaps he just doesnât like going outside when no oneâs home because he has to keep watch if anyone comes in. Who knows.
All I know is that I shall buy him belly bands.

Yep.
Will be suggesting the pee pad idea. We just sold the baby gate we used to use to keep him out of parts of the house because we didnât need it. Now we do
Just buy the damn things. No drama.

They make dog nappies (is that what belly bands are?). My SIL had an incontinent old dog that wore them in the house all the time. Definitely beats cleaning up messes

Dogs donât do spite. Not feeling safe to go outside when no one is there is much more likely.
