the flies and other flying bugs are bad here especially down at the beach, Iâve found using cologne scented shampoo has helped somewhat
would it be too much scent/icky to also use 4711 soap and maybe some extra eucalyptus in my laundry liquid? I donât want to go the deet route and since the bugs here are clean biters I donât have a need to

You could just pour some 4711 into a little plastic spritz bottle to lightly spray over your clothes. If thatâs a bit expensive Florida Water might be more bang for your buck.
That might be a risk for attracting bees though
