You must never have smoked. There’s nothing distracting about smoking… But the unfulfilled addiction, if banned, could lead to some nice road rage videos.

unexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.de 1 month agoI wish it was banned everywhere. If you wanna kill yourself with cigarettes then do it the normal slow way with cancer, but dont endanger other people by being distracted while driving.

Yeah basically disallow smoking in all places where people gather. Bars, outdoor restaurants, sports events, etc.

We have this and it works for the most part.
Pubs there tends to be more people blocking the door than in the pub as when a smoker goes out for a fag the non smokers tend to follow to continue the conversation.

(a couple had sex while the guy was triving ~140km/h. The guy may get up to 5 years in prison, carges for the woman unclear)
