  My dad is bald at the back, my maternal grandfather was bald at the front. As a result I’m what’s called bald as fuck. Thick beard though.

  I don’t know the genetics of beards, but that’s how the genetics of the penis goes. Your mom’s side of the family determines the shape and length because the X chromosome encodes it, and the Y only activates it. Nature has a sense of humor, doesn’t it.
