Idk I found it very fun, not game of the year or anything but if you’re going into it with high expectations you’re obviously going to be disappointed. Riding around on the train I felt to be a very satisfying game mechanic, and Charles himself was designed very well. And yeah, it’s kind of short, but it plays well with how the game goes, it respects your time and doesn’t make you go on some cheap “collect x from y” missions for 30 hours, which granted half the missions are like “collect x from y” but it’s why I’m fine with it being short. It is a bit much for $20 but at least it goes on sale all the time, like it’s currently $6 which is more than fair in my opinion.

That’s accurate. The assets look cheap, and the game itself is a bit dull.
