My best friend from high school reached out after not responding for almost a year, saying sheâd be open to talking about things. But what is there to talk about? We had a bit of conflict during the first couple of years out, because I was an idiot, but we were way too co-dependent on each other.
So itâs been a couple of years since Iâve actually seen her in person. Part of me wants to see what she has to say, but Iâm not the same person I was when I was friends with her. I hope that sheâs changed too.

I mean itâs a big thing to reach out like that, a lot of lesser people would not do that. It sounds like youâve both changed for the better over time so maybe itâs worth meeting to see how you feel?
