That sounds like a fun project (s) :)
But please put some non-slip shit on those wooden outside stairs where ted is sitting.

itās not as bad as it looks, there are actually few weeds, they are just big, and the soil is sandy so itās easy to pull them
Iām going to make two big garden beds surrounded by paths , Iāll make the paths by laying down cardboard then putting wood pavers on top of that . Then build up the beds a little. The pots will remain around the edges.
I canāt do lawn as I canāt get a lawn mower in there, so garden it is, and it will nice to have vegies too.
I have an upstairs balcony for relaxing in .

That should come up nicely. Iād probably use wood chip mulch instead of actual pavers for the paths, then you can just keep adding more over time as they break down to refresh it. Iād also be a bit worried about pavers getting slippery.
I think it is much better not to have a lawn for most purposes, it is a lot of upkeep for an area most people donāt actually use. Garden beds with ground covers or native grasses generally look great, are less maintenance and if done right provide great habitat for birds and small animals.

woodchip sounds like a good idea , yeah, pavers might get slippery as the garden is watered
