Currently tossing up whether to build a or buy a prebuilt PC. Current one Iâm using I didnât build and itâs a bit of a monster put together over a few years with the last upgrades done in 2019. Boyo just nabbed a prebuilt and itâs actually a great machine.

Made it down the beach last night. Ended up building the 'puter. No mishaps. Certainly the fastest thing Iâve ever used.
Ended up going w/ win 11 ltsc. So far so good. No bunch of useless shit on there straight out of the gates.
And itâs quiet even at load. Can hear the second hand of the clock in the other room when itâs idle lol.
Only hitting 50c after an hour of prime95 which is wild. Obviously didnât bugger the thermal paste.
Now have to reinstall all the audio things which takes for ever.

My old PC, Athena (yeah I name all my devices), I built, and she was a beast. Iâm currently using a pre-built PC (Minerva) as it was just easier than buying PC components and building it myself at the time (one bedroom prison cell in the CBD).
The pre built is a small machine, itâs very easy to move around, and runs the vast majority of games I like to play perfectly. Itâs a bit outdated now (bought in 2020), but itâs really good!
I bought it from Tecs Pty on La Trobe St in the CBD. Also got two gaming chairs from them, and wheeling them back to my apartment along city streets is a memory I wonât forget đđ

Keep an eye on Ozbargin for deals from Nebula and Techfast. They even post their prices vs PC part picker to show the prices youâre getting

Have a look at a script called win11debloat. Trust me man.
And I hear you about the plugins/daw installations. Would love to do a fresh install but fuck all that lol
