    They can go down to 9 these days. There’s ones that have even more range sometimes too

    It allows for a much lower in tone tuning which works really well for heavier music.

    It sounds like an odd mix of percussive and melodic.

  Tune down to drop A for maximum djonk.

  I’ve also found 7 string sets weirdly light for the type of guitar they go on
