I donât even remember any violence at the start of American Gods. I just remember absolute boredom. I didnât even finish the first episode the first time I watched it, and then slogged through a few episodes after being assured it would get really good and be worthwhile. Spoiler: it wasnât. I didnât enjoy any of it in the slightest.

Catfish@aussie.zone â¨2⊠â¨days⊠agoCompare violent to opening sequence S1 American Gods?? Violence is fine by me if it has purpose and plot. That Bone Tomahawk bit was a shock, but made sense.

There was non book set up scene for the undocumented Scandinavian first North Americans.

Thirding The Boys. Yes itâs blood soaked, but in a comedic style. Itâs very cleverly written and a is a parody and warning of current American politics.

Iâll Fourth it. I really enjoyed it (although Iâve only seen the first two seasons, as I only use streaming services occassionally)

Iâm pretty sure the first scene of the Boys someone gets vaporised except for their hands.
Itâs gory as, but somehow with a purpose.
