I’ve never tried them myself but I’m glad I never had to rely on them.
I hope you at least start to have some luck with it.

Bumble for Friends is starting to feel like a dating app! People match and never reply, or they tell you to message on Instagram, which I don’t have. The latest is some dude trying to flirt with me. Umm wrong app buddy. You’re meant to be on the other one…
Someone asked me how my day is going. That’s nice but what about finding common interests? I don’t want to tell you that I’ve played games with my cousins, what are you going to do with that info?!
So I’m just going to go to more in-person things. Fuck meeting people through this app. I always thought I’d meet a partner through a dating app, but I guess I’d rather be single for the rest of my life than have to go on one of those again.
I’ve never tried them myself but I’m glad I never had to rely on them.

I wouldn’t necessarily assume asking how your day is going is for nefarious info gathering. It’s just a normal part of small talk. (However I’ve never used any matching apps so don’t know the context, I just found out thumbs up emoji is apparently rude to younger gens). You can give nonspecific answers, just like you would in real life. Conversation needs to star somewhere.

Yeah. Can’t say I’m surprised.
I did meet mine on OKC, but that was before it joined the Swipe club, and shock horror, had questionnaires and profiles
