  Just because it shares mechanics and characters does not make it the same game.

    Huh? The person I responded to said they don’t have Mario kart world and don’t want to buy it for the price it’s being sold at. So i said play Mario kart 8 it’s the same game.

    So yes. If you don’t own a sequel to a book and it costs too much, then just read the first book.

  It’s different to the point I sometimes go back to 8 for the more traditional format. That isn’t something that has ever been the case for me across other mario kart games.

    Kinda the best of both worlds if you have both games, really. MK8 had a ton of “traditional” tracks and MKW has a ton of new tracks.

    That’s a lotta tracks, baby!
