- Comment on A couple of Switch 2 owners are already reporting expanded back panels, Nintendo investigates possible causes 6 days ago:
For better or for worse, it’s actually quite different. Many people seem to actually prefer Mario Kart 8 lol
- Comment on Why do some people hate drinking water? 1 week ago:
I think it was probably more likely the intestinal compression from the cabin pressure of the airplane.
- Comment on Why do some people hate drinking water? 1 week ago:
Funnily enough, I had a bit of acid reflux this morning (I don’t normally but oh well) and I’m drinking water right now lol
- Comment on Why do some people hate drinking water? 1 week ago:
To be fair, while drinking water is great and everyone should have an adequate fluid intake (if you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated), water is not a guaranteed cure for constipation. I was in Paris for a week back in April and the only thing that helped me was taking a ducolax, my digestive system needed a reset after that long international flight and eating different food for a few days.
- Comment on 70% of games that require internet get destroyed 4 weeks ago:
My point was more that games that require the Internet itself, and not just LAN-capable servers, are games that are inevitably going to disappear.
It may seem like I’m splitting hairs but what I said is technically true.
- Comment on 70% of games that require internet get destroyed 4 weeks ago:
Technically 100% do, games that require the Internet require the Internet, which means by design you’re relying on someone else hosting servers which means it may not be available, 50, 100, or even more years into the future. That’s not the case with single-player/offline-available games.

Something tells me their “peepee” never worked to begin with tbh.

Yep, I love the Tomb Raider games too, I still play Rise of the Tomb Raider sometimes, it’s such a great game.

Plus also she’s awesome anyway. What the fuck is wrong with people? Oh I can’t enjoy my vibeo game with a wahmen as main character, it’ll ruin my mood!
That’s what I don’t understand, like, have people not played the Horizon games? They’re awesome, they’re fun as hell.
- Comment on Mario Kart 64 got finally decompiled! 5 weeks ago:
Pokemon MMOs literally use Pokemon assets as well as trademarked data too, and they’re literally using Nintendo’s intellectual property.
I say they haven’t been taken down, because, I’m playing PokeMMO in 2025 on my PokeMMO account I created back in 2013. PokeMMO has been around for over a decade, Pokemon World Online has been around since like 2007, Pokemon Revolution Online has also been around for a decade, etc.
Do you have any proof of any Pokemon MMOs that have been taken down by Nintendo?
- Comment on Mario Kart 64 got finally decompiled! 5 weeks ago:
You could say that about Pokemon MMOs too, and yet I’m playing PokeMMO in 2025 on my PokeMMO account I created back in 2013.
There are some things Nintendo don’t go after, and there are other things that they do go after. Decomps don’t appear to be something they go after, which is good because then we can get cool ports of older games too.
- Comment on Mario Kart 64 got finally decompiled! 5 weeks ago:
Why expect this to be taken down if other decomps haven’t been taken down already? Why expect other decomps to be taken down?

I hope it does worse than the Wii U tbh, Nintendo needs to be knocked down quite a few pegs. I am quite fed up with them.
- Comment on Palworld confirms ‘disappointing’ game changes forced by Pokémon lawsuit 1 month ago:
I’m not so sure.
All of my friends who are less pissed off at Nintendo than I am are not even considering buying a Switch 2 because Nintendo basically priced themselves out of the market. All of my friends who have a Switch 1 will not be buying the Switch 2, that’s pretty significant IMO, but I guess we’ll see.
- Comment on Gears of War: Reloaded announced, coming this summer to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 1 month ago:
Agreed completely, I just wish that they would stop remastering Gears 1 only and give 2 and 3 some much deserved love too.
- Comment on Apex Legends writer gets laid off 24 hours after the character she wrote is revealed, because that's what the games industry in 2025 looks like 1 month ago:
It wasn’t a clear end in sight, there was still lots of content and systems that needed to be ported over to the new system, a new payment system to be integrated, and other new features they needed. They had two developers who were familiar with the system, me and another dev. I did kind of suspect that something like this was possible, but I didn’t think they would be dumb enough to actually do it. It turns out, they were dumb enough to do it.
They were just really cheap, and I was most likely their highest paid developer on my team, and myself and another dev were replaced by friends of manager that laid me off.
After that manager laid me off, I asked for a reference or a letter of recommendation, and was ghosted entirely. It happens.
- Comment on Apex Legends writer gets laid off 24 hours after the character she wrote is revealed, because that's what the games industry in 2025 looks like 1 month ago:
I got laid off 3 months after I launched a modern website to replace my former company’s old platform that none of their other developers wanted to work with.
I did exactly what they told me, something they wanted for years and years, and then I got laid off as a thanks instead of a bonus.
lol

Technically they’re right, which is why pirating Ubisoft games is ethical.

Sure but his doctors are keeping him alive regardless, clogged arteries no problem they’ll clear that right up too.

I’d say there’s zero chance, he could probably easily outlive us all somehow.

So it’s $650 CAD $700 AUD for the Switch 2 and it’s $120 CAD $150 AUD for Mario Kart.
LMAO

I think so yes (there is a stereotype about them for good reason after all), but I think things are trending in an extremely concerning direction and things are going to get worse. I mean, they’re clearly trying to make younger Americans less intelligent, look at what they’re doing with the department of education.

True, but if you die, you won’t be doing much running anymore anyway.
- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 2 months ago:
Half of the Americans are in favor of this clown, and the other half either are too drained from the whole thing, can’t afford to miss work, or just don’t know how to protest.
- Comment on PC gamers spend 92% of their time on older games, oh and there are apparently 908 million of us now 2 months ago:
Yep, that’s the thing. Games have to be bigger, better, more fun than ever before, and yet the publishers and management want it to be done quicker and quicker than ever before, so it’s a pretty difficult thing. That, combined with bad working conditions and the public shitting on you because “game devs are shitty/greedy/etc” with developers being used coloquially to absorb all the blame that should be reserved for management, and things are in a pretty tough spot.
Though, at the same time, it’s a better time now than ever before to actually be a gamer, because not only can you play any half-decent new games, but you can also play the entire library of older games, retro games, etc.

I was playing a bunch of Skyrim with mods last year! Awesome game.
