There are tons of good games always coming out even recently, unless you only like multi-player games.
- Comment on Is it time to start a campaign against kernel-level anticheat? 5 days ago:
On areweanticheatyet.com it seems like the percentage of denied/broken keeps getting higher and higher :(
I guess it makes sense, new games come out with anticheat, and rarely do new games come out without anticheat.

Apparently she won’t be getting it because she called 911 instead of the tip line LOL
- Comment on Grrr why is it censored 1 week ago:
She apparently also missed the tip money because she called 911 instead of the tip line. LMAO
That’s about what I would have expected.

People used to think so highly of CEOs, that they must be doing something right if they got to where they are. They must be smarter and have all the answers.
Now people are realizing CEOs are just rich scumbags.
- Comment on Do you want the murderer of the UnitHealthcare CEO prosecuted? 2 weeks ago:
No. He did a heroic act and should not be punished.
- Comment on Blizzard is delisting the OG Warcrafts from GOG, but GOG says it's gonna preserve them forever anyway, hands out a discount, and announces new policy for its preservation program to boot 2 weeks ago:
That’s one thing I really hate and why video game preservation is so important. We need to keep games alive forever so future generations can enjoy the classics and all the masterpieces out there.
- Comment on Why people consistently vote against their own interests to benefit the rich? 4 weeks ago:
Because the rich pretend like it’s in peoples interest, people believe them because oh they are rich they must know what they are talking about, and because people are stupid.
- Comment on Is it possible to install my own OS on a "smart" TV? Is that a thing? 5 weeks ago:
Technically yes, you’d have to find an exploit for your TV that allows for installing your own OS.
It’s not super feasible but it’s technically possible.
- Comment on What good thing just happened in your life? 5 weeks ago:
It’s always good to be valued, congrats!
- Comment on Is it possible to install my own OS on a "smart" TV? Is that a thing? 5 weeks ago:
Yes, something like that would work. The stock OS would still be on the TV but as long as you don’t connect the TV to WiFi it should be fine.
- Comment on What good thing just happened in your life? 5 weeks ago:
Congrats! That sounds like actually meaningful work.

That’s awesome news, congrats!

Wow, 2 interviews in 11 months is rough. Last year it took me 5 months, I’d say around 20-30 interviews, and 6 years of experience as a dev.

- Comment on what should one archive in a fascist regime? 1 month ago:
Honestly, everything. Any TV show, movie, documentary, book, or hell even porn that could be deemed as valuable or important in any way as I could see any one of these things becoming outlawed with such a regime. Hell, Canada’s new prime minister (99% chance to win in the next election apparently) is going to try for putting porn behind digital IDs (despite claiming to be against digital IDs before if I remember correctly) which is just going to be a privacy nightmare unfortunately.
- Comment on what should one archive in a fascist regime? 1 month ago:
Canada will do the same once Pierre takes over.

Is the source code for HG/SS the latest or is it from an earlier build?
- Comment on Game Freak has been allegedly hacked, with source codes for Pokemon games reportedly leaked 2 months ago:
No other company aggressively goes after its fans quite like Nintendo does. Nintendo have not only gone after fan projects made by fans showing their love for their beloved games, but also gone after community-run tournaments that in no way affect Nintendo, etc. Nintendo are pretty awful.
- Comment on Game Freak has been allegedly hacked, with source codes for Pokemon games reportedly leaked 2 months ago:
Gen 4 was peak IMO, both the new Pokemon as well as the best remakes ever made.
- Comment on Game Freak has been allegedly hacked, with source codes for Pokemon games reportedly leaked 2 months ago:
That has to be a real wake up call to Nintendo.
That’s optimistic thinking. Nintendo doesn’t learn, they just bulldoze.
- Comment on Game Freak has been allegedly hacked, with source codes for Pokemon games reportedly leaked 2 months ago:
They really, really, really, really earned it.
- Comment on Steam's new disclaimer reminds everyone that you don't actually own your games, GOG moves in for the killshot: Its offline installers 'cannot be taken away from you' 2 months ago:
I think it is fair. When you buy games through GOG, you get the offline installer. Nobody can take that away from you.
When you buy games through Steam, you can only install them via the Steam client. If the Steam servers are offline, you cannot install your games. In theory, some games are without any DRM, and you can just zip them up, but even then that doesn’t always work, and you shouldn’t have to.
Providing an offline installer that works no matter what is as good as “owning” the game IMO, even if “technically” you are just purchasing a license to use the game.

You are now resorting to personal attacks (which is against the rules) yet you are blaming Linux users for… using Linux? Suggesting it as a free alternative that people can try out at any time?
I don’t get it.

Did you ever think that you hate Linux because that’s what you have decided you are going to do, and not because you should and not because people are making you?
