Thatâs what I thought, hell, even my old 2011 hatchback has auto lights but this damn car does not have it as an option. Behold:

Why??!! And youâd think the solution is to then leave it set to on all the time (as the lights switch off when the car is turned off anyway), but some fool at work keeps changing it back to off grrr

Okay thatâs kind of funny. I guess old mate at work thinks that if you leave it on, the lights will be on all the time and the battery will drain?

In my subaru the lights went off with the car. In my toyota the lights stay on.

My old work Ranger would have light stay on, my current Toyota they turn off. I prefer the off option.

No idea. Maybe heâs just used to doing it with his own car (which is much older, presumably like my old car - has no auto lights and lights donât switch off when the ignition is off). But really, bad design to begin with. Just have an auto lights option, Subaru!
