It is a metaphor, honestly the fact that you can’t tell the difference between similes and analogs makes me really concerned about your ability to make your broader point even though this conversation I am roping you into has nothing to do with this unnecessarily specific and overly involved tangent that doesn’t actually challenge the fundamental basis of your argument…
